The Municipality of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, launched a competition for the main square of the city, where very far historical moments of architeture left their traces. The most considerable is the ancient Roman Forum which is already partially excavated.
This proposal creates a new square with two levels. The contemporary square level and the archaeological one. They are connected by fluid paths on two rings, which function is not only the upstairs walkway, but also a cover for temporary activities.
